So…this one time, I started a crocheted ripple blanket and just about wanted to croak from boredom. Although they are all super pretty, the ripple patterns really fail to hold my interest. But to get some good snuggliness going, I can handle a small swatch.
The experience was enhanced by some amazing Madelinetosh yarn generously gifted to me by my buddy Heather.
The Details:
Pattern: Twitterpation Cowl
Yarn: Madelinetosh Vintage (baltic), 67g
Hook: H (5mm)
Started: February 25, 2011
Finished: March 1, 2011

Still not ready to try to acquire a new crafty skill, but seeing this kind of thing makes me really want to. It is beautiful and I bet it feels even more beautiful.
Oh, it does look so snuggly!
Absolutely gorgeous!
It looks wonderful! I love all the different shades in the yarn. Nothing better than a quick project that keeps you warm and snuggly. :)
Of course you are bored……only one colour in the thing….what’s that about. It is lovely though.
Oh my goodness, I can do that! (and I don’t crochet) That just plain makes me happy, thank you for the link…(I have 2 ripple afghans on the needles as we speak and have had for several years – I agree with you – BOR-ING!
But that’s just a pretty little project (and that color is gorgeous on you!).
Although I don’t crochet, I liked this cowl when I first saw it on Maryse’s blog but in your blue yarn it can almost convince me to try and make it, very beautiful indeed.
That yarn really is delicious:: so many blues, in nuance and shadows. Nice cowl!
Oh, so cozy. Oh, so comfy. I loved your pink swatch on flickr, too!
If only it could always be as fun as it is when you get started, right?
Beautiful work as usual C.
