Okay!! I have 24 more blocks from the Give a F*ck project to show you this week. I have been categorzing and rearranging blocks all weekend to get a start on a vision for the overall design. There might be thematic days of show-and-tell. Otherwise, let’s just behold the lovely f*ckery my friends have made.
Disclaimer: These posts are a cataloging of the contributed blocks in the project. The f*ck word appears down below at least 4 times. If that’s gonna be a problem, then don’t scroll down. But come back next week! I am working on a new super colorful scrappy knit blanket that I hope to show you soon. Well, I’m stuck worrying about the applied i-cord as the body knitting comes to an end. And I’m super sad to have missed a snowy photo opportunity for it this past weekend. Grr.

Great blocks! I have noticed that some blocks are squares, some rectangles. Did you ask for different block sizes from your contributors? I’m getting super excited to see how this quilt comes together!!
I left the size flexible: rectangles with length/width between 10″ and 15″. Squares are fine. Some of the blocks can be trimmed, while I can also fill in some spaces in the overall design with some sashing or small patchwork. It’ll be interesting to see how it evolves over time.
Ohh they’re all so nice! I really like Amanda’s. I can hear the old folks now saying f*cken squirells!
The blocks for this quilt always make me so happy.
Cracks me up to see all the different creations you are getting! Very creative.
These are all beautiful! I’m really drawn to Amanda’s and Monica’s. I’m so excited to see some assembly!
oh… i wish i could “curse in cursive” in the comments.
more please. ; )
Who knew the F Bomb could be so sweet? ( Especially Lynn and Monica’s) Can’t you hear Granny dropping one now?
i love them all! i really love monica’s so much!
These are my favorites. They make the ‘f-bomb’ elegant.
love the colors of all of them!
These are great! I especially love Amanda’s pretty cursive fuck with the adorable hedgehogs. Hah!
Love the Give a F*ck project; the finished piece is going to be tremendous. Also loving the scrappy blocks of recent posts, but I don’t often love full size quilts predominantly made with very small scraps. Is it scale? Color mish-mash? I’d love to read more about this if you have enough to say for a full post.
Lynn’s is so elegant! Great typography on Amanda’s too, but then again, I’m a sucker for hedgehogs. They are all wonderful and I can’t wait to see how this project turns out (I know I say that every time I comment, but I really mean it).
