Want some more evidence of the scattering of the brainz…?
Trying to keep the scraps in check, I started sewing willy-nilly one night.
This is the best sort of diversionary sewing. I can disengage and there are no mistakes.
Scrappy for scrappy’s sake.
Have a great weekend!

I find “random” difficult, so this impresses me no end!
how do you make your scrappiness look so good!!??
I wish I could take a class from you on “neat scrappiness”. Very impressive!! Thanks for sharing.
I love doing this kind of sewing too. You can just kind of zone out. Think your results are more successful!
Aah, the artists eye, always at work, even in the most random. And with uch wonderful results.
I need to do ths sometime but right now my stitch length is stuck on ’0′ after working on some buttonholes. I am so frustrated.
Scrappy for scrappy’s sake is so good. I want to embark on my own scrappy adventure to this degree. Soon!
You are my scrappy idol!!
That is how I sew my scraps too. I have made dozens of quilts that way. It is mindless but adds up quick so you see lots of progress. I also like the added thought that all that fabric is going to good use. Most of these quilts go to charity. Although, I have one in my camper and one in my spare room.
You’re my scraptastic hero. I am completely paralyzed by my scraps though I fantasize about being brave and just going for it.
Insanely Awesome.
i will be doing that exact thing very soon! your blocks look lovely! i love how scraps make such beautiful mess.
I like that you trimmed them all the same. I’ve been sewing scraps together as leaders and enders for the last year. Only now am I gathering them together into something more cohesive.
Of course, I love my scraps!
I like that about disengaging and no mistakes.
