i am a fickle maker of things, flinging myself from one technique to the other on a whim. summer is for sewing, autumn is for crochet, winter is for knitting, and spring is for being outside after the long grim winter.
though the past few days have been gloriously warm, making-wise it’s winter now.
new blanket in progress…

Color,color
be it knit or stitch
or quilt or paint
is not for the faint
of heart. The itch
to make it, so divine,
our bitchy colorful hearts
do pine
for each one we’re not doing.
Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall,
goddesses, we do them all!
apologies for the spewing!
Interesting that you associate seasons with certain crafts. I bet it feels good to have needles in the hands once again. Looking forward to seeing where they take you this winter.
Magnificent. I love all of your work with color. (I wish I could knit!)
Lucky for you to have multiple skills. I am a one-trick pony, although I’ve previously dabbled in the knit.
Gorgeous photo! I feel like I could reach through the screen and feel the softness of the yarn and evenness of the stitches.
this looks promisingly fun!
Lovely colors! Can’t wait for more…garter is so soothing.
yay! Love seeing your knits as much as your other artwork…can’t wait to see what is underway.
i wish you could teach me to knit! i so want to know how!
do you ONLY knit in winter, or do you do bits of the others too?
