I thought I might have one or two more things to share with you before the new year, but events of this past week make me reticent to share at this time. This is not a time for snark, it is a time for sincere reflection as our nation once again deals with the reality of who we are and what we are capable of doing to each other.

I live in the Portland,Or area where we recently had our first shopping mall seemingly random mass shooting by a main with a rifle. Since then, of course bigger similar events have happened. The need for violence is beyond my ken.
