On the (not so fake) snow day, I stitched like the wind. The next page had large monochrome tracts, which are speedier to make happen.
My hand included for scale. No, I don’t have man-hands. That’s just some insanely small stitchery. And I continue to be impressed by my own patience and monogamish-ness with this project.
Have a great week!

Wow, that is incredibly tiny. Your patience & eyesight astound me; hope your stitching in very good light! Looking forward to this developing further, good work.
great progress! indeed you did stitch like the wind
Such progress! Wow, C. I can just tell that this is going to be epic!
I didn’t need your hand to get scale, it’s pretty clear. And so impressive.
The Sistine Chapel?
nope.
Darn, I was totally thinking it was going to be a black version of The Creation of Adam too.
The tiny scale of your stitching is so amazing. The resulting texture is really lovely. And I can’t wait to see the finished piece.
Do you use knit pro or some other picture to chart software? http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/
sometimes i use something like that.
so first I thought it was one of those religious pictures you get on frescos. Now I’m wondering if it’s going to be something x-rated. Or perhaps an amalgamation of the two!
You really do stitch like the wind!
it’s neither.
My jaw is dropped.
Whatever it is (I’m done guessing in my head because I’m never right!), it’s certainly impressive. Seems like a good use of a snow day!
show us the wrong side, too!
this is gorgeous!!! your stitching skills are amazing!
