For the past couple of weeks in airplanes, in the ATL airport, in the Austin convention center, at home, in the CLT airport, in hotels, in the PHL airport, in the library, while anxious and while in grief, I doodled.
Oh me, oh my! lovely work.
but what about one of the most common refrains I hear from people…..why ME!!!! accompanied with a sob.
its been a tough week for you but I don’t think I would hear the why me from your lips or needle ; )
Stitching up the tear in your heart.
I see more & more that we are alone through the various heartaches of life. We can lean on others, but ultimately we must mend ourselves.
I always love your stitching, and I love the name of this one. It’s the perfect name. Samplers are so fun. I would like to do one soon; such a great way to explore a topic/theme/word.

you can’t have forgotten FUCK me?! And from where I sit, it’s all about ME. That’s the state I’m in these days…..
see me. hear me. get me. Indeed.
And I love the little dots that fill the open space.

So glad that you have fiber and textiles (and a creative mind) to help you through the grieving process. Thanks for sharing your doodles with us.
