Meet Moses Archimedes Reynolds, Jr!
I’ll call him Archie or Mo, for short? The names you suggested were very fun and seemed aware that this piece of art is likely not just a baby on a weird green background. That is, this is only 25% stitched. There’s more going on in the image and, of course, there will be text too.
Anyway, his first and last names are thematic hints, while I just love Greek names for children. [I named one of my dolls Isoceles---long before Kramer claimed the name on Seinfeld.]
Feels good to have reached the outer edge on the bottom. And it seems likely to be finished within nine months, which is a decent gestation for a baby, I hear…
Have a great week!

What a perfect name! I’m so curious to see the rest of the piece for more context on where he is laying. :)
I am a bit of a Luddite – especially when it comes to pop culture, but Reynolds sounds vaguely familiar – even to me…
The other 2 have old enough connotations for me. :o)
So I am 2/3rds savvy! Yay me!
You know what I think of Moses…..Archimedes Russell was an extraordinary architect in Syracuse, my well-loved city of a previous life, so an Archie Reynolds is kinda cool too. Looking forward to seeing more, and then the whole kit and kaboodle.
Love Mo, he’s coming along beautifully…
Dude, that makes him “Marj” for short! Looking really nice.
I really love the name you chose (especially the nicknames). I’m glad you’re feeling renewed motivation to focus on Moses.
I’m clearly very uncultured, I didn’t realise there was more to it… now I’m wondering what on earth it could be!
It’s like reading a really good book, can’t wait for the next page. I am watching your every move!!! It’s a wonderful piece, I can’t believe how small the work is, amazing…
love the names, Mose(s) was a name I sent in too.
Wonderful C, you are a joy to watch
donna
I just keep thinking, “Is she pregnant?” which seems unlikely, but is causing me mental block. I think it’s because I’ve been thinking about a pregnancy myself. One track mind here!
I love classic Greek names too. I pitched Athena for one of our daughters and was roundly vetoed.
