to say that my little old house is drafty is to understate the extreme chilliness of the place throughout the winter. i try to conserve energy and keep the thermostat down, but even with it set on 65 i have to wear hats indoors on the colder days.
during those months, every sitting place gets its own blanket or quilt so that warmth and coziness is always within reach. and so i have become a “blanket whore.” if i could, i’d just make wool blankets all day.
preferably with hexagons.
