In the midst of yesterday’s angst about having too much freedom, my wise friend Danielle suggested that I engage in some cleaning/organizing as a remedy. And she was totally right.
I spent a half-hour putting fabrics away, vacuuming and dusting. Most importantly, I tended to some basic cleaning of the new machine.
Of course I always find something forgotten in the process of stash re-organization which sparks a new idea. I’ve picked over this huge box of tiny scraps collected from my various virtual benefactors for the past year but it’s time to engage in a frenzy of piecing with them in order to get the stash back down to a manageable level.
The bobbins are filled.
The iron is ready for full steam.
And the tools of the trade are all located and lined up.
Let the games begin!
