Another WIP begun in autumn and ready to be done…
The fabrics are scraps of handdyed Cherrywood cottons.
It is a pure improvisational exercise that needs more of something before quilting. Someday I hope to figure out how to finish it.

It is stunning! I’m sure however you finish it will be perfect.
those colors are divine! I love the small pieces mixed in there….
It is beautiful.
Someday I will buy some Cherrywood fabrics.
I think it’s gorgeous as is. I love the pieced stripes blocks. Such tiny strips of fabric pieced together into something beautiful. Your piecing always inspires me.
I really love this quilt, and am so happy to see it again. I’m sure inspiration will hit and you’ll turn it from beautiful to simply amazing.
Oh, another lovely piece C! Keep going, it will let you know when it’s ready to be done!
oh, such soft colors. Where ARE my handdyes, sigh …. (I’m plowing through a cabled glove & hope to get finished by the weekend).
Wow! Keep up with the improv because you are great at it! Beautiful colors and variety of blocks. Really caught my eye in the flickr pool.
I really love what you have going on here! Maybe some hand embroidery/quilting for texture? Or textured sewing (folding/ruffled fabrics)?
I really like it!
That square with ministripes is sweetttt!!!
This is your hallmark style. I don’t understand how you can sew such skinny pieces of fabric together and still use them.
Oh my–those colors!
