The online crafting community is known for getting things done but I am still forever impressed by the generosity shown again and again. Take for example that mitered crosses blanket pattern: I heard that it has raised over $2000 for Mercy Corps in Japan.
These are tough times for lots of folks everywhere, though. A friend of mine, Ann, is holding a virtual raffle to raise funds to help a friend who has liver cancer. There are tons of prizes–mostly yarn–and I’ve offered a handmade miniquilt as a prize.
It is 11″ square.
Machine pieced, hand-quilted, and hand-bound.
Go on over to Ann’s blog to see all the more exciting prizes and find out how to enter.
