Thanks, folks, for all the love this week. I’m home now and recuperating. I was intensively alert after the procedure, but spent most of the day sleeping rather deeply. Concerned about side effects of the heavy drugs, I’m muddling along with the less powerful painkillers and taking things slow. This morning I’ll catch up on email as much as I can.
Here’s some randomness:
— The bowl in yesterday’s photo is designed by Sanna Annukka for Marimekko. I have some fabric printed with the same pattern but I have no idea when or how I’ll use it.
— The only productive thing I managed to do yesterday was frog some knitting and then use the yarn to begin a new crocheted blanket. Is there a 12-step group for this?
— Otherwise I could hold my head up to wander around online getting inspired by photos here and there:
- As always, the amazing Stacie is up to no good with her patchwork. She’s handing us our asses on a plate with this feat! I can’t wait to see how it will turn out!
- I love the simplicity of Andi’s latest quilt with all those vibrant Echino colors.
- And check out Andrea’s hexagon blanket based on Nova’s super amazing Ruby Hexagon pattern. She chose to make solid hexagons and it turned out quite stunning!
Have a great weekend!
