…my pulse slows, my thoughts focus, and the world seems a tiny bit kinder.
Due to the fine weave of this linen and my aging eyesight, I had to make this one stitch at a time–stabbing-and-poking rather than rocking-and-loading. At first that was frustrating but then I realized there was no due date. That it would take however long it would take to finish.
This current series of stitchery just feels right to prolong. Next up is “kindness.” What other virtues?
