It started, on impulse, with a box of yarn scraps from my buddy Michelle and a frogged log cabin during my first week of summer vacation.
Steady knitting inspired by more colors, more colors really does get things done eventually.
Even the applied i-cord wasn’t as soul-sucking as usual.
Oh, and I already started two more of these.
Yep, at least two more.

The happiest of happys. More blankets!
whew! that was quick! More proof that stripes are irresistible. How many more?
this is gorgeous! I love all your blankets/quilts – never seen anything like it.
Oh, fabulous!!! Happy weekend, C.
Ok, so I love this. I’d never have the guts to just start knitting with scrap colors – I’d be too busy knitpicking/planning out what color goes first, second, third, etc instead of just going wtih the flow and letting it work itself out. And holy sh*t you knit that fast!
I love your blanket – its amazing. Such fantastic colours and cool design. Thanks for sharing.
Whoo Hoo! I love it :D Your house must be so happy with all these colourful blankets!
I’ve started one too, but it will be hideous and I’m ok with that!
Absolutely fabulous. The colors are amazing!
I do so love this – you inspired me in an earlier post regarding this blanket to start one of my own – so I did!! Using up all the odds bits of singles left on bobbins that I have navajo plied. Who’d have thought that odds bits could amount to such a lot of knitting!
Ok, now I feel a bit slack, I started a scarf in March and it’s um, about 7 inches long… :)
Your blanket is beautiful, I need this blanket in my life, off to find a pattern….
Alright, that just makes me want to go and get my knitting needles…like right now. Seriously, C, I need another project like I need a hole in the head.
I love your use of color. And I have no idea how you knit so quickly.
Oh, this is so happy! It’s great all in a blankety pile in the first picture….I love how you make such beautiful things out of scraps and frogged projects. The ends and bits come together into so much more than the sum of their parts.
I need some bold color like that in my life.
OMG!!! This is Beautiful!!! I simple Love your work and the fact that you work FAST!!! I promise myself that i’m going to be just like you when I GROW UP!!!! ;-)
Glad to see that the ibprofen kicked it! This is beautiful. I especially love the golden brown stripe. Looks like it is in a basketweave? Cheers to two more!
