amazing! so very tiny, so many colours
but what about Moses?
Just taking a break.
Man, that’s amazing. What count is that linen. 100 to the inch??? HA! Great progress in a short while. Congrats!
Please excuse my dumb question. I often forget to read headlines.
Is this the other half of Moses canvas? Where’s the baby?
Were you lured away by another project you couldn’t resist?
Yeah. This is a new project.
Whew! Such tiny stitches!
Wish my hair looked that good…
20 stitches per inch! Wow…I have to massage my hands just THINKING about that gauge! So beautiful, though. I love the depth and richness.
Wow, I can just imagine how wonderful that stitchery feels, even though I’d feel weird petting some stranger’s hair. ;)
Billie Holiday? The finger waves are amazingly detailed…
Lovely, lovely. Everyone else’s comments are making me nervous – I just dyed a 22-to-the-inch piece of aida for a little project. But less stitching. I’m sure I just need to dive in.
Ooo… love the hint of flower in her hair. Not BIllie Holliday though as it’s not a magnolia… finger waved hair… I’m guessing it’s a person from the 20’s? Perhaps your grandmother? Or Moses’ grandmother?
You are insane – the best kind of insane! This is totally awesome.
Honey – you’re insane!
How beautiful! And the richness of those colors together is amazing. Do you use two strands of floss? I’m new to cross stitch (I’m not doing anything as complex as this, for a while yet). I love seeing your work. Thank you so much for sharing it.
For 40ct linen, I use just one strand. The stitches are very small.
Oh wow! My perspective is way off. Thank you!
Which is probably why you have a quarter there in the photo. D’oh!
utterly gorgeous…wonderful progress on this latest project…
Just have to add this (and Moses) is absofuckinglutely luminous!
Beautiful work C! I’ll have to send you a picture of my little 6 colour x-stitch … so not worthy! But I enjoy it on my commute …
I’m sure it’s super! Let’s see it!
Your ability to get shit done astounds and inspires me!! xo
I’m thinking either a dog’s bottom or a girl’s hair? But I’m really bad at this guessing game!
I still can’t believe the scale of this stitching. AMAZING.
