I have no idea how you do this – it’s amazing.
Love! so creative and pretty! and teeny-weeny!
I really love the views of the back of the tiny nine patches. The seams along the bright colors in the middle make them look like framed windows.
Holy. Cow. I am both intimidated and inspired. Oh, and impressed.
So… you don’t sew larger and cut down… you start as small as you intend to finish? Wow… the precision required is a little mind blowing.
Ah, nine squares put me in the mind of – In French the word neuf means both nine and new. In German, the words for nine and new are neun and neu, and in Spanish, nueve and nuevo. As you count and reach nine, you know you are about to make a new start.
Completely gorgeous. I love how tiny the centre squares are.
pure genius…you so rock ! what an inspiring photo…love it !
OMG. Tiny tiny cells pack a punch! You are amazing. Love your creative work. <3
I’ve fallen in love
Lovely! So good to see your latest.
Your work is amazing. Unbelievable. Museum-able. In every medium you choose to pick up. I’ll stop now since there aren’t any words big enough to say what I want to say.
Wish I could just sit and watch you stitch to get an idea how the magic is done. Astonishing!
Amazing, what do these measure?
This is (as usual) amazingly beautiful and fiddly beyond my scope for imagining. So wonderful to see the progress of tiny things.
I came in thru Dawn Chorus studio post, and glad I did. You are amazing with line and color. Love. LeeAnna at not afraid of color
Wow. Lovely. You must have great eyesight or very good glasses.
While sometimes words are nice, with your pictures they are rarely needed. Your beautiful and creative work speaks for itself. In this case these tiny beauties are yelling.
Do you work while listening to the radio? Because this project looks a little like an enjoyable riff on the NPR logo. Now I’ve started thinking about what other typographical ephemera could be used as a creative jumping-off-point.
